Privacy Policy

Premarket Radar is a private, read-only market-research application operated by u/Annual_Equipment_370.

Information processed

The app processes bounded samples of public content from r/wallstreetbets:

• post titles and limited body excerpts;
• limited comment excerpts from selected discussion threads;
• post and comment IDs, timestamps, scores, flair, comment counts, and Reddit permalinks; and
• internal collection status and error information.

The app intentionally excludes Reddit usernames from its stored snapshot. It does not request private messages, email addresses, passwords, payment information, precise location, contacts, or private subreddit content.

Purpose

This information is processed to produce a private pre-market research digest, including relative ticker attention, changes in sentiment, themes, material discussion summaries, and source links. The app does not create user profiles, make decisions about Reddit users, serve advertising, or execute trades.

Storage and retention

The latest compact Reddit snapshot is stored in Devvit Redis and automatically expires after three days. A status record is retained to diagnose collection failures. Reddit deletion triggers remove matching cached post or comment content when those events are delivered to the app installation.

The separate research workflow may retain derived daily observations such as a ticker's relative heat, aggregate sentiment, themes, catalysts, and prior trade ideas for historical comparison. It is not intended to retain a raw Reddit content archive. Source links may be retained for auditability.

External processing

External transfer is disabled until Reddit approves the app's External Endpoints request. If enabled, the latest snapshot will be sent over authenticated, managed-token endpoints to the operator's private OpenClaw service. Selected public Reddit text may be processed by OpenAI to generate summaries and aggregate research signals. Reddit data will not be used to train or fine-tune a model.

The app does not sell personal information or provide Reddit data to data brokers, advertisers, or unrelated third parties.

Security

External endpoints, if approved, are limited to fixed collection and snapshot operations and require a Reddit-managed token. Secrets are not stored in the app's source code or included in reports.

Deletion and questions

Deleted content is removed from the cached snapshot when the relevant Reddit deletion event is delivered. The raw snapshot also expires after three days. To ask a privacy question or request deletion of data controlled by the operator, contact u/Annual_Equipment_370 through Reddit. Requests will be handled subject to identity verification and applicable law.

Changes

This policy may be updated when the app's capabilities or data practices change. The effective date will be revised for material changes.
